\(f\left(x\right)=\frac{3}{x^2+1}\)

Applying the quotient rule, notice how the denominator is now squared:

\(f'\left(x\right)=\frac{\left(0\right)\left(x^2+1\right)-\left(3\right)\left(2x\right)}{\left(x^2+1\right)^2}\)

Simplify:

\(f'\left(x\right)=\frac{-6x}{\left(x^2+1\right)^2}\)
