Ear Shape  In pigs, erect ears is dominant (E) to drooping ears (e).

 A farmer wants to determine if his erect eared sow (female pig) is genotypically heterozygous or homozygous for the trait.

A test cross is performed. Explain the purpose of a test cross and describe the other individual involved in the test cross.
