1)Engels argued that the bourgeoisie:

ignored the evidence that the proletariat was becoming a powerful force to oppose the property-holding class.

was becoming more like the proletariat and they would soon be “one race.”

found ways to reduce the rage and contempt of the proletariat.

was keenly aware of the “gathering storm-clouds” of a worker’s revolution.

2)When Engels argues that the proletariat has been made a ‘practical atheist’ he means:

because money is worshiped in society and workers have none, they are essentially atheists.

  workers support the Catholic church.

workers do not like the religious education that is taught to their children.

religion has lost all influence on workers, who as a result now have little sense of morality.

3)According to Frederick Engels, people are turned into brutes in a capitalist society when:

they resist their oppression and are forced to resort to violence to defend their interests.

they form associations of workers, what we could call “unions.”

they give up on any belief in God.

they give into exploitation and what the bourgeoisie wants.

  All of these

Marx and Engels argued that the bourgeoisie, i.e. the liberal republicans, would eventually have to be overthrown by the proletariat, i.e. the working classes. So choose the first.

This idea stems from what happens when you take everything away from someone, there becomes less social order. Choose (A)
