The traffic flow rate (cars per hour) across an intersection is r ( t ) = 400 + 600 t − 120 t^2, where t is in hours: and t=0 is 6am. How many cars pass through the intersection between 6 am and 11 am?

Integrate between 0 and 5 for the function; technically:

\(\int _0^5400dt+\int _0^5600tdt-\int _0^5120t^2dt\)

You should get 4500 cars
