Right at birth, infants:

▸ can see objects that are between 7 and 15 inches away.

▸ see everything in a distorted blur.

▸ are far-sighted and are able to see objects clearly that are between 3 and 5 feet away.

▸ are near-sighted and can only see objects clearly that are less than 6 inches away.
