Suggested Responses: Students should indicate that IQ tests are designed to measure general, innate intelligence. They should describe how IQ scores are computed and how the tests are standardized. Concerns about IQ testing should be discussed, including: the narrow focus of the test on linguistic and logico-mathematical intelligence (and excluding other of Gardner's multiple intelligences) and cultural bias in the test content, standardization, and test setting.
