Can we custom manufacture the Red Tricycle which was driven by me 45 years back?.

I suffered a right hand fracture when I was 5 years old after a dash against the wall.

How can we trace the Red Tricycle cost in INR?

In North America, we call those scooters, not tricycles. A tricycle is that shown below

What you've shown is called a kick scooter. I'd assume they'd cost anywhere between 5 and $11 back in the 70s, because today a decent one go for roughly $60. With inflation, it's usually 10% per 10 years, so do the math backwards.


Possibly. What you could do is find a bike shop owner whose been in business for 45 years and ask them. Even if we were to assume $5, for example (over here in the United States), I don't know the precise conversion ratio from USD to Indian currency to even start guessing.

From scratch? Yes, but it'd take a lot more work than to find one and restore it back to its original glory. For you to make it from scratch, you'd need to know the exact dimensions, labels, etc. See if you can find it on ebay, lookup "vintage kick scooters"

When I was 5 years old, I suffered right hand fracture after having a dash against the wall.

If my head would had dashed against the wall, it could have been fatal which could have resulted a 5 year old boy death.

Isn' it ?.

God is Great. A 5 year old boy has become 50 years of age. 1 digit number (5) has become a 2 digit number (50).

Possibly, but it depends on the impact. You'd be surprised how much humans can endure, especially younger people that are more agile and flexible in their joints. You're more likely to suffer from a neck injury than a fatality to the head.


It always amazes me how long we survive. Rewind 200 years ago, most people didn't reach the age of 50. See like expectancy chart below:

You could also casually ask a doctor in the area next time you see one. Or, you research the inflation cost in India per every 10 years and calculate it that way. For example if something costs 100 today, and inflation is 8% increase every 10 years, the math would look like this:

Today's cost: 100 (2019)

100 * 0.08 = 8
100 - 8 = 92.00 (cost in 2009)

92 * 0.08 = 7.3
92 - 7.3 = 84.70 (cost in 1999)

I am 50 years old. 50 - 45 = 5 years when I suffered a right hand fracture.

75 - 45 = 30 years. The Orthopaedic Surgeon has started practicing from 25 years. So He/She would be able to tell me the fracture cost surgery after 5 years?

The only thing which I do not remember is the Hospital name, Location and Orthopaedic Surgeon name.

The Right Hand Fracture Accident happened in Parijat Building, Navpada, Thane at my Grandfather's (My Mother's Father) house.

I will ask my two elder sisters and my two cousins if they remember the Hospital name, Location & Orthopaedic Surgeon name in Thane who performed my Right hand broken bone Surgery and get back to you.

My parents have expired so I cannot ask them.
