I think the water would sway too much while the train is operating, thereby preventing the swimmer from enjoy their swim. For novices, it could even be hazardous, cause people to drown. Bad idea overall, hence why it's never been attempted, but only in cartoons Grinning Face Grinning Face with Smiling Eyes

Thanks.

So it is technically not feasible (Difficult) to implement Swimming pool in Long distance trains ?

The water will / may come out from the swimming pool as the Express train is running at full speed ?

The water coming out of the swimming pool cannot be avoided?

Say a 6 feet deep  swimming pool to be designed & constructed in Express train as a business case.

Thanks.

Depending upon the dimensions of the dedicated coach for Swimming pool, Can we also
have two swimming pools in the Express train?

1 Swimming pool  -  5 feet deep
1 Swimming pool  -  6 feet deep

This could be a interesting Swimming pool construction project in dedicated Coach for implementation in Express train.

Charges will be beared by the passengers on board of the Express train to avail the facility of the Swimming pool.

Easy to implement, but to your second question, that's the main logistical issue. Water always takes on the form of its container. If the train accelerates, the water will be pushed to one side of the bed. Whether it's 5 or 6 feet, the difference is so little, it doesn't matter. Look at how violent water waves get on windy days; now imagine that speed created by a train. Furthermore, water weight is very heavy; carrying all that weight means bigger engines, and bigger engines means more fuel. The idea is flawed.

Thanks.

As you mention, Robust built Train engines can assist in this regard.

This can be implemented in Large Locomotives for testing purposes ?

Most of these are used for freight. Passenger trains don't use these, do they?

You are right. I feel those Large Locomotives are used for Freight transportation purposes and not for passengers.

Thanks.

This could be a interesting project for implementation on Express train coach/es.

Red or Blue colour Text painted "Swimming pool" on the exterior of the coach/es of Express train to identify that this are dedicated coaches for Swimming pools.

Most train trips don't exceed 45 minutes, not sure if passengers would be encouraged to swim within that short timeframe. Thinking Face

Thanks.

The Swimming pool dimensions layouts drawing plans inside the coaches of Express Trains can be created by Architects.
