Commodity prices listing before certain years.

Would it be interesting to list the prices of commodities products say 45 - 50 years back say in Year 1975, Year 1970 ?

What was the theatre ticket cost ($) in the Year 1985 for the movie "Superman"?

I saw the movie "Superman" starring Christopher Reeve in Eros theatre, Churchgate in 1985.

Assuming I had paid INR 30 in 1985 for the movie, What was the INR - US $ currency rate ?

Is it possible to find the INR - US $ currency rate in the Year 1985 (INR 30 in How many US $ at that time) as the currency rate varies day to day basis?

Economist that are hired by government agencies do this already; they build what is called a price index. A video on how they do it is provided below:

Would it not be interesting to find the cost of western and indian musical instruments way back in year 1970, 1975, 1980 etc ?

Ex : Violin, Trumpet, Saxophone, Drums, Guitar, Tabla pair, Veena, Sitar etc
