Wilma, a thirteen-year-old, had been seen helping her brothers with their illegal drug trade business. In fact, police officers who arrested her brothers warned her parents that Wilma also seemed to be involved in the trade. Wilma ran away from home and could not be found for six months. She was discovered living in a home with other runaways. Wilma returned home and to school. Subsequently, she was expelled from school based upon accusations that she started a fire in her locker. Prior to being expelled, Wilma skipped school at least 10 times during the marking period. She has no friends in school but has begun associating with local gang members. When she is in school, Wilma fails in all subjects although she is a gifted learner. Wilma was arrested for attempting to rob a 7-11 market.
