Examples : Travelling by Cable Car, Buses, Cars, Racing cycles.

Yes, it works anywhere in the world because it's based on satellites suspended in space. In fact, the navigation system is made up of at least 24 satellites. In deserted areas or mountainous areas, however, you don't have roads, so you might get lost if you rely on the artist's map rendition Grinning Face with Smiling Eyes

In an underground bunker or in a cave under a mountain, it won't work. GPS satellites are constantly transmitting radio signals towards the Earth. Each transmission includes the location of the GPS satellite and the time the signal was sent. Each satellite has an atomic clock onboard, so the time is very precise.

Thanks.

The GPS navigation devices will work with people commuting in Cable cars for mountain rides across the mountains?

In that case, the GPS navigation devices would come handy while traveling by Cable cars or Aerial tramways ?

Thanks & Regards,

If you're holding a GPS in your hand while riding, it will work as intended. But if it's under a canopy of trees, it'll not be able to receive the signal.
