Do you feel adding Greek alphabets in Calculators would be useful?

Hi prashantakerkar,

Scientific calculators already have most of the english alphabet programmed in it already (see photo).

Because Greek letters don't give any particular value to the calculation itself (except for π), it would be unnecessary because letters (called variables) are placeholders - their physical symbol doesn't matter.

If Yes, How ?

If not, why?

Thanks & Regards,

Yes. The one that I use FX-991ES can be download for free on the Android store. Look up "calc modern" on the Google Playstore. It's awesome, and I think does a better job than the calculator itself.

They do a better job because they're more user friendly and customizable, while at the same time have the same functionality.

Also, the processing power of the phone far exceeds that of a calculator, which has limited ram and no CPU technically. Larger calculations can be done because more memory is available. For more complicated applications, a calculator on the phone can produce graphs in 3D, whereas those on calculators probably could, but not to the same quality and speed.
