Like I mean the answer to the question, for example f), the question is tan pi/6 and that equals to √3/3, but as I got my answer which is cot (pi/3), is does not equal to √3/3, instead it equals to √3.

FOR this question were talking about 2 tan x / 1 - tan^2 x, and my teacher had wrote it like this,

It's okay.

So your teacher is wrong.

Look at the numerator, he says tan(x) + tan(x) is the same as tan(x + x). They are not equivalent, hence his proof is wrong.

Test it yourself, say x = 40°:

tan(40°) + tan(40°) ≠ tan (80°)
