I`ve bumped into some interesting article and I wanna share it with you and hear your thoughts about that project. The world`s first space hotel is slated to open in 2027 . Orbital Assembly Corporation, the group behind Voyager Station, has announced plans to begin building the hotel in low Earth orbit in 2025. The hotel will be able to accomodate 400 people and it will have a cinema, gyms, health spa, reastaurants, libraries and more stuff

Can you share a link to that article if you have, please? The idea is good, and I even think that I would be a regular visitor there. However, there are so many obstacles to bringing this concept to reality that I don't believe this hotel to appear soon. We have a prototype of such a hotel — the ISS, and it's probably everything we can count on.

Yes, sure.

It seems to me that this project is rather interesting. But there are some scientific problems that are needed to be solved before this project starts building. Also, as for me I don`t see any necessity of this space hotel. Just imagine how much it would cost to build it. I assume we have more important stuff in space exploration. ( not taking into consideration issues we have on Earth )

In addition to my answer above, I wanna say that I am not the specialist in the area of building such things but still I assume that it`s rather expensive thing to build and as for me it`s completely needless and useless. On the Earth`s orbit we already have a lot of space junk which became the issue for space companies.

Great, thank you for the information. I also can't tell that I'm a specialist in aerospace engineering, but you're right: building such a hotel is needless and too expensive. I like reading information about such concepts and ideas because it makes me think that humanity didn't exhaust itself yet. However, implementation of these projects is hardly a good way to develop an aerospace engineering industry...

Yes, there are more important missions we need to do than building space hotel. Moreover,  we need to invent an artificial gravity for such consept to be build in space. But even if we invent such thing like artificial gravity, building space hotel is a difficult stuff to build wich includes difficult engineering processes and expensive technology

It's better to spend this money on developing spaceflight industries in less developed countries.  Many of them have enough resources, power, and bright minds ready to make their homeland a leader in space exploration, but the only thing they need is proper funding. We don't even know how many countries have young and promising space endeavors.  For example, Scotland can boast of Skyrora. It's hard to call this company a startup because they already have several successful launches and numerous concepts of various spacecraft: space tug, supersonic rockets, launch vehicles, etc.  You may read more about this company here if you find it interesting  https://www.skyrora.com/blog/tag/launch-vehicle.
