Just to be clear, what does \(s\) and \(t\) represent? Were you told any of that?

\(x=\pm r\sqrt{\frac{s}{t}}\)

Honestly, not sure of what's being asked here...

It's not the neatest solution, but the answer can either be \(\sqrt{2}\) or \(\sqrt{3}\).
