Referring to following video, I would like to know on what challenge is within brain.

Dad told kid not to eat candy and wait
Kid understands in mind not to eat, but internal nerve system keeps giving positive feedback to eat.

The first kid does not eat, but second one eat, what make them difference in control mindset?

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

This reminds of the famous marshmallow challenge/experiment. In this experiment, the children were then told that the researcher had to leave the room and that if the child waited for her return, they could have two marshmallows. But, if they simply could not wait then they could ring the bell and the researcher would come back immediately. But they could only have one marshmallow. During the marshmallow test, the children who could wait without ringing the bell for the set time used different tactics by pushing the bell away, closing their eyes, and repeating aloud they could have two marshmallows some even fell asleep. This showed self-control and the children finding the ability to apply it.
