Answer (examples may vary):
Biofeedback involves monitoring and adjusting one's physiological states. By using feedback provided by a measuring device, a person could see when her blood pressure was rising and then practice stress-relieving techniques to lower it. Neurofeedback also involves feedback from machinery, but the focus is on the brain. Feedback from an active amygdala, for example, could help a person control his anxiety in a stressful situation.
