Dear all,
I have an assignment to interpret this boxplot.

This is boxplot was created by using wing spot size and wing area size in drosophila's wing (D. biarmipes).
It is an assignment in one of my classes. Does anyone help me to interpret this boxplot?
Thank you!

Hi tsing_lee, welcome back

This is a box-and-whisker plot.

These plots display 5 main things: minimum value, Q1, median, Q3, maximum value

Watch the video for a better understanding.

Hi, Thank you for the video. Basically, I understand.
I tried to interpret this data. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Individu C has the largest number of ratio wing spot size/wing area size.
Individu D has the smalles number of ratio wing spot size/area wing size

and how about individu A? does it not significant?

Good interpretation.

Does A represent a combination of all groups?

Yes!
Could I say "A distribution includes B, C and D individu"?
Or do you have some additional interpretations based on this boxplot?
