Hello guys.
I have a homework and I'm having some problems. This picture of a cell Tririchomonas Foetus was taken by TEM microscope and I'm supposed to describe it's organels such as nucleus, flagella, kinetoplast, mitochondria, microtubules, golgi apparatus etc. Can you please help me with it?
Thank you for any answers! Slight Smile

The only thing visible from my perspective is the flagellum, and possibly the nucleus (large black circle). The smaller black circles are possibly the mitochondria. The microtubules are nearly impossible to see under a TEM, so I don't know what your teacher is expecting. Let me know what you think.

Thank you for your reply! And where exactly is the flagellum? And also is it possible that the large white circles are vacuoles and small white are hydrogensomes?
Thank you!!

Hi Biologie juu,

My assumption is this:

Again, I can't seem to locate the nuclear membrane. Typically the nucleus is easiest to find because it is the largest organelle.

Here's what I based my assumptions on: https://ars.els-cdn.com/content/image/1-s2.0-S0020751911002505-fx1_lrg.jpg
