When solving inequalities with greater or equal to sign, what happens when you divide by a negative?

Say you have:

\(-x\le 12\)

I realize you divide by \(-1\) to solve for \(x\), but if I do, does the sign change to \(x>-12\) or \(x\ge -12\)?

Whether you divide OR multiply by a negative number, the sign changes. When you switch the sign, you keep the negative. Therefore, the following is correct:

\(−x\le 12\)

\(x\ge -12\)
