New born baby born with one kidney.

Usually babies born with this condition die shortly after birth.

Doctor basically say you've got three options, wait out the pregnancy, and you'll maybe get a half-hour to a couple of hours with her before she passes, or we can terminate the pregnancy. The third option is infusing a saline solution into the amniotic sac to allow the lungs to develop throughout the pregnancy. The hope then is after birth, the baby can undergo dialysis and, ultimately, kidney transplantation.

With advancement in medical science & technology, babies born with one kidney can be treated with oral (liquid) medicines?

If a surgery to be performed for a kidney transplant for a new born baby then in that case we will require a donor kidney for the baby?

Can Artificial Kidney transplant assist in this regard for new born babies born with a single kidney?
