Anaphylactic reaction is a type of hemodynamic disorder called shock. In addition to
anaphylactic shock, there are septic, hypovolemic and cardiogenic shock. everyone has like
main characteristic is the sudden drop in pressure (hypotension). Differentiate between types of shock as to its origin?

Hypovolemic

In this shock there is rapid fluid loss results in multiple organ failure due to inadequate circulating volume and subsequent inadequate perfusion. Endothelium plays a vital role in physiological and pathophysiological process.it results from depletion of intravascular volume by extracellular fluid loss or blood loss. Then the body compensates with increased sympathetic tone resulting in tachycardia and high cardiac contractibility and peripheral vasoconstriction. When the volume status continues to decrease there is a drop in systolic pressure. Thereby oxygen delivery to the vital organs will be stopped, cells stops the metabolism. As sympathetic drive increases blood flow is diverted from other organs to heart and brain. This enhance tissue ischemia ,if it is not treated shock will leads to death.

Cardiogenic shock

It is characterized by inadequate tissue perfusion due to cardiac dysfunction, and caused by myocardial infraction. The pathophysiology involves a vicious spiral circle, ischemia causes myocardial dysfunction, which contribute the worsening of cardiogenic shock. Low perfusion pressure with global ischemia leads to multiorgan dysfunction.

Septic

Both proinflammatory and anti-inflammatory responses play a role in septic shock. A wide array of inflammatory responses produce hypermetabolic effect. This is manifested by increased cellular respiration, protein catabolism and metabolic acidosis with compensatory respiratory alkalosis. Most cases it is caused by gram positive bacteria, and endotoxins produced by gram negative bacteria.

Hypovolemic shock -- Severe blood and fluid loss makes the heart unable to pump enough blood to the body and causes many organs from stop working. [see source below]

Cardiogenic shock -- It is a disease state where the heart is damaged enough and unable to supply enough blood to body.

Septic shock -- [see source below]
