Rationales:
1. Because paracentesis of this much fluid can cause severe fluid shifts, albumin is often administered at a rate of 68 grams for every 1 liter of ascites fluid removed.
2. Unless there are other complications, mechanical ventilation is not necessary.
3. Oral fluid restriction is not necessary unless the patient's renal system is compromised, which may or may not occur.
4. NPO status is not necessary.
