If evolution made it so men being attracted to buttocks ties back to "wide hips being able to bear children easier" in simple terms, what evidence is there to suggest that women are biologically attracted to buttocks the same way men are, if at all, given it wouldn't be relevant in reproduction?

I'd assume it has to do with the subconscious that was inherited by our ancestors. Muscular male butts convey a more durable skeletal morphology, and thus these men are more capable of survival, giving them a competitive advantage when hunting, for example. Hence, it is engrained in their DNA, and is something they select for today.
