Is the number 2 to the 11th power minus 1 a Mersenne Prime? Explain/Demonstrate how you arrived at your answer.

I understand that the formula is (2^n-1) 2^11-1 = 2048-1 = 2047. 2047 is not a prime number but is it a Mersenne Prime? My answer is no... is that correct? Thanks.
