Questions:
Between parametric and non parametric test, which best describes the table above? And why is that type of test used instead of the latter?

Parametric is parental catas. behaviour because the Pearson correlation is 1. The opposite is true for the other.

Of course! So the way I see it is that the closer the value is to + or -1, the more linear it is. In other words, as r approaches -1 or 1, the strength of the relationship increases and the data points tend to fall closer to a line. I would imagine that implies that it is parametric.
