Law of independent assortment stated that during gametes formation or reproductive cell formation, different genes or non-allelic genes separated or assorted or classified independently.
example: assume that in parents genes like A its allele AA- for eye color, gene B it's allele BB for skin color, so during gamete formation, both non-allelic gene called A and B are sorted out independently and both genes are received in a gamete without any influence.
Hence for question 1, option A is correct that is, Non- allelic genes do not affect each other if they are located on separate chromosomes.
