In early 2020, the US labor-force was approximately 164.5M workers. By April 2020, the official unemployment rate stood at 14.7%. However, many of these workers were furloughed and expected to be re-hired once lockdowns eased. At the time, there were approximately, 11.7M workers who expected to be hired back to their roles. If all of these people were in fact rehired, and the labor-force remained the same size, what would the US's unemployment rate be (note: this has been termed the Full Recall Unemployment Rate by some economists)?

▸ 14.7%

▸ 6.4%

▸ 7.6%

▸ 4%
