A study of cellular phones was performed to decide if phone type had any effect on amount of radiation produced. The phones were classified as either a standard cell or a PDA/smartphone, and the at-use radiation emissions were recorded for several varieties of phones. A one-way ANOVA procedure yielded the following information:

SourcedfSS
Factor12.629
Error1175387.728
Total1176390.357

Based on the output, does it appear that phone type affects the amount of radiation emitted? Given that the critical value for the test is 6.6565, select the appropriate test statistic (TS), decision, and conclusion. (Useα= 0.01).

TS = 2.629; fail to rejectH0; phone type appears to affect radiation.

TS = 0.330; not enough information to rejectH0; phone type does not appear to affect radiation.

TS = 7.9671; rejectH0; phone type appears to affect radiation.

TS = 7.9671; rejectH0; phone type does not appear to affect radiation.
