In this case, we have 30 gm of active ingredient mixed with 1,000 mL of normal saline:
Final concentration (w/v) = (30 gm / 1000 mL) x 100%
Final concentration (w/v) = 0.03 x 100% = 3%
Therefore, the final concentration (w/v) is 3%. The correct answer is C) 3%.
