There is definitely a science behind beauty. Why we perceive some people beautiful, and others not has a lot to do with the placement of facial features. To fully understand what makes someone physically beautiful, we must ignore social biases and look at it from an objective point of view. These two articles should definitely make for an interesting read. It is true when they write "A large body of research now shows that the presence of odour can indeed influence person perception through a range of mechanisms from mood-induction to crossmodal affective/semantic priming, and changes in arousal." What are your personal thoughts on the matter?
