A dotplot depicts the results of the average sleep on weeknights  for 48 students. The horizontal axis is labeled, Weeknight sleep and has markings from 4.0 to 9.6 in increments of 0.8. The dots are plotted as follows: 1 dot above 4.0, 4.4, 4.7, and 4.9; 2 dots above 5.2; 3 dots above 5.3, and 5.6; 1 dot above 5.7, 5.8, 5.9, and 6.0; 2 dots above 6.2, and 6.3; 1 dot above 6.4, and 6.5; 3 dots above 6.6; 1 dot above 6.8; 2 dots above 7.2; 1 dot above 7.3; 2 dots above 7.4; 1 dot above 7.5, 7.6, 7.9, 8.0, 8.1, 8.4, 8.5,  8.6, and 9.1; 2 dots above 9.2; 1 dot above 9.4, and 9.6; 2 dots above 9.7; 1 dot above 9.8, and 9.9. There are no dots above 4.8, and 8.8. All values are approximate.
