Hello,

The question is as follows that I need to know to study for my exam.
Rolaids is an antacid which contains magnesium hydroxide. Using this information, write the reaction that shows what happens when you take a Rolaids tablet to combat excess hydrochloric acid in your stomach.

would the answer be:

HCl + Mg(OH)2 ------> MgCl + 2 H2O Neutral FaceNeutral Face? Undecided Face with Rolling Eyes
