lens             Acuity, focuses light rays on the fovea
fovea            Acute visions, contains a high density of cones (colour)
iris               Regulates the amount of light that enters the eye
ciliary muscles   Alters the shape of the lens to promote focusing (acuity)
cornea          Refracts (bends) light rays into the eye
rods             Photoreceptors of the retina sensitive to dim light
sclera           Protects and supports the eyeball
cones           Photoreceptors of the retine responsible for colour vision
choroid         Absorbs scattered light
humors         Supports the eyeball with the fluid they contain
