Hi,

I need to find a list of drugs, commonly found in homes, which cure by affecting the nervous system AND its mechanism; meaning how the drug works. Eg. does it affect the GABA receptors in the brain etc. or EG. i know that in Acetaminophen codeine the Codeine is a weak µ-opiate receptor agonist and the majority of its analgesic affect is due to metabolism to morphine. Opiate analgesia is mediated through changes in the perception of pain at the spinal cord and higher levels in the CNS (Ref. http://rx-s.net/weblog/more/acetaminophen-codeine/#ixzz1vkAAXw5X).

It would be very kind if you could help. Im told there are such full lists on the internet but i dont seem to find one Frowning Face

Thankyou
Slight Smile
