Hello, I'm doing a project on comparing mitosis and meiosis. This question is just one of many, but it is rather important. I would deeply appreciate any help on the number of chromosomes/chromatids in each cell for any of the phases prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase for either mitosis or meiosis.  Thanks so much!

you should give some references, because each cells has different starting chromosomes/chromatins.thus different in numbers in each of the phases.
