what about biochemistry? I'm trying to decide what I should major in when I go to college but I'm unsure if chemistry or biochemistry will give me better job options.
also, if i get like a masters degree, will I have to specialize or can I basically get a job anywhere that involves my degree?

it all depends on your specialization in MS.

you can get a job in chemical industry, medical diagnostics, an instructor in a college or a high school
