im graduating in december with a physics bachelors degree with a minor in mathematics....and i have NO idea what to do with it.  does anyone have any experience/ideas? a few years ago i didnt realize that most physics jobs are research-based...and im not very interested in research.  what else is there?

If you're not very interested in research, I suggest teaching HS.  There are very few jobs for physicists with just a BS.

Enter med school!  You'll love it.  you can specialize in anything you want.

I have gone into teaching with a very similar background and enjoy it.  I think the person suggesting med school has an interesting idea.  Another possibility is to try to get into a graduate program in either physics or engineering.
