You're gonna have to deal with chemistry in college. That is if you plan to go to college. if you needed help, why didn't you ask your teacher. I get from many people that they have "bad" teachers. Really, they have different methods of teaching. Just keep telling your teacher for help or at least stay after school if you really want to succeed

I hope you can understand these solutions ...

chem is difficult at first - try and get help and keep going .. P:

we have 2 compounds of Sb and Cl

in the first compound we have in 100 g of compound :

45.9 g of Cl = 45.9/35.5 moles of Cl = 1.29 moles

the Sb in this compound is 100 - 45.9g = 54.1g or 54.1/ 121.760

= 0.4443 moles

molar ratio of Sb : Cl = 1:3

empirical formula = SbCl3

59.3g of Cl = 59.3/35.5 moles of Cl = 1.67moles

the Sb in this compound is 100 - 59.3g = 40.7 or 40.7/ 121.760

= 0.334 moles

molar ratio of Sb : Cl = 1:5

empirical formula = SbCl5
