Virus' are cultured in live tissue. Do you need a protocol on this?

ya but if i have to store my sample for over a long period isnt there some cryopreservation.. method or something

If it is an RNA virus, they can be stored at -80 Celsius for a long time. Keep in mind that RNA will degrade spontaneously, so try to avoid repeated freeze thaw.
