Hello.

Would someone be able to tell me how long could human stem cells such embryonic or adult stem cells or ANY type of human cells survive outside the body in a pertri dish at room temperature ? Just for the sake of the question please use ANY human cells which could survive the longest at room temperature ? So perhaps stem cells for example. How long could they survive 24 hours ? 72 hours ? 1 week ? 2 week or longer ?

Thanks

Hi Victor,

I believe they can last indefinitely given they are preserved properly.

Hello duddy.

Thank you. Can you tell me a couple of more things. First can you give any details of "preserved properly" ? Also same question but this time the cells are stored in a fridge and freezer temperature environments respectively. Could these same stem cells again survive indefinitely ? If yes would the stem cells not die due to the change of temperature variations going from 30F-34F to 70F (fridge) and  being removed and placed outside at room temperature ?

Thank you
