1. B. proteins since the are not usually present in the kidney. The presence of this may signify faulty kidney.
2. False. the reabsorption of the crayfish may not indicate its tolerance to saline environment (salty environs). Furthermore if a crayfish can reabsorb salt this would mean that the inside concentration of water would be low henc water from the environment would diffuse to the inside causing the organism to bloat and die.
3. B. reabsorption of water indicates passive transport. Remember that water is just dependent on the concentration gradient for osmosis to occur(diffusion of water). The transport of water never needs the utilization of energy hence it is a very good example of passive transport.
