What happens when sodium borohydride is reacted with para toluene sulphonyl chloride in presence of DMSO? If it is hydrogen liberation then what happens to boron? In what form boron goes out?

Why do this in DMSO?? Sodium borohydride will reduce tosyl chloride to the corresponding sulfinic acid in THF solvent (see source below), but doing it in DMSO makes no sense, as the reagent could react with the solvent under the conditions needed to react with the sulfonyl chloride.

The usual boron containing by-product of NaBH4 reduction is NaH2BO2 (after hydrolytic workup). HCl will also be a by-product.
