you can always predict the result of a cross by making a Punett Square, or calculating the probability of the genotypes. Then, you can check its fenotype. If you have data for the genetic frequencies of each allele, you can also take that into account.

A PUNNETT SQUARE is a chart which shows/predicts all possible gene combinations in a cross of parents (whose genes are known).
