What influences DNA replication rate in yeast

does anyone know what type of experiment that i could do that would help me find out wat influences dna replication time in yeast. im reading an article about an experiment that has already taken place earlier in the years:

but now im asked to make up my own...however i am stuck....is anyone a science major out there that could provide me advice about a experiment that would actually work when analyzing the replication rate in yeast?

The link you posted was published in 2010, which is fairly recent. Can't you use their methodology and change some of their variables around to make it your own?
