Hi,

You can use the Law of Sines to find either an angle or a side opposite an angle given 3 of these 4 items: 2 angles and their 2 opposite sides.

..x..............15
----------.=.--------- <== x is an opposite side
sin 30......sin 60

..7.5............15
----------.=.--------- <== x is an opposite angle
sin x.........sin 90

I hope that helps!! :-)

sine law is just a mathematical expression of the fact that the side opposite to the bigger angle is bigger
means if in a triangle, the three angles are 120,25,35
then the largest side is the one opposite to 120
then 35 and then 25
you dont have a direct relation of saying this, and that is why there is a sine law to interpret this and put it in a equation
proportionality of angles and sides
so sine law is used for mathematically expressing the fact that the side opposite to the larger angle is larger in magnitude than other sides.

I don't feel like riding until everything blurs.

Normally, when using the sine law, you are trying to solve a triangle (or atleast part of a triangle, whether it is a side length or an angle measurement)
The law of sines equation is: a/sin A = b/sin B = c/sin C, where the lower case letters represent a different side length, and the sin of the angles corresponds to the angles opposite from the side letter.
