i dont know if they are classified as neurohormones.. but their effects would be related to the brain.  Oxytocin causes contraction in the uterine (a mother secretes this from her uterus when its time to deliver a baby) and adh, prevents the kidneys from secreting water.. therefore concentrating urine.

Yes, they are synthesized in neurons of the paraventricular and supraoptic nuclei of the hypothalamus. They are secreted from the posterior pituitary, which consists of axonal projections of neurons from these two nuclei.
