And also, if the gene has a dominant and recessive allele, how many different phenotypes are possible? please help.

Eg.T - dominant; t -recessive

Possibilities - TT, Tt, tt. = 3 genotypes. 2 phenotypes (TT and Tt  show dominant, tt shows recessive).
