Remember the formula for quantity to dispense:

dose × frequency × duration

According to your prescription, there are two versions.

Rx—Biaxin® 250 mg

  • TT po BID 10d and
  • TT po QOD for 3 months.

The double TT means twice po means via orally BID means twice a day for 10 days.

dose -- 2 tablets / dose
frequency -- twice / day
duration -- 10 days

Therefore, 2 * 2 * 10 = 20 tablets

Quote
TT po QOD for 3 months.

dose -- 2 tablets / dose
dose -- 1 / 2 days
frequency -- 3 months

You need to convert either the dose or frequency to days. I'll change 3 months to 100-days

2 * 0.5 * 100 = 100 tablets.

Hope this helps!
