These hormones tell the kidneys to NOT remove water from your bloodstream into the urine, thus water is retained in the blood and it results in a larger blood volume.
That's the simple answet. If you needed the physiological mechanism behind how those hormones work, there are probably some good diagrams in you anatomy text.
